Jeffrey Scott Talk

Well this is my first blog so I decided to call it "Jeffrey Scott Talk". I was born and raised in Houston with quite a journey in between. I went to Elementary, Junior High, and High School and then went off to college at Texas State University.  My journey off to college was the beginning of my travels to which later I referred to as "running" as fast as I could go from a reality I did not want to see. And by the way, "running" doesn't necessarily mean to run to a different location. Running to me included drinking, drugs, partying, and the like. Had lot's of fun and made some good friends. It would be later that I realized I was running on quick sand. Today I am so grateful that I am alive and well and made it through the crazy life of a young man who didn't want to face himself. Since this is condensed blog I'll just continue on my cliff notes version of my life. I got sober when I was 40 years old. Yes, my extended childhood had run it's course and there I found myself facing a whole new way of life. Like I've said in meetings "the first half of my life was the way it was and the other half of my life will be, well, different. More to come.....
